Susan Avey is an architect working in Adelaide as a sole practitioner. She also works as a sessional staff member at the University of South Australia in the School of Art Architecture and Design. Her doctoral research focussed on the urban and planning history of Adelaide in the nineteenth century. Other research interests include the history of mental health environments and drawing as a historical research method.
